Adib Asyraf, The 1st JuniorTopian Boy by Otai

Adib Asyraf Bin Mohamad Fariz.
Born on 11 March 2007 9:35 p.m.
At Hospital Pakar An-Nur Bandar Baru Bangi.

It was the morning of March 10, 2007. Wawa and I decided to visit An-Nur for regular checkup and ultrasound. We arrived at O&G Clinic around 9.10. We also planed to go for final shopping to complete stuff on the list for the arrival of the new born. We picked An-Nur for checkup and deliver because Wawa works here, some of the expenses are covered by the management.
-
Actually our appointment with Dr Fatimah O&G specialist was scheduled on Tuesday 13 of March. But we rescheduled the session earlier as I have to work on Tuesday. On Wawa's previous checkup the Dr. found out that she's having a hypertension and need to be admitted in order to monitor her closely. The Dr. also mentioned that there is a possibility for her to undergo a C-section procedure. I spent 3 nights at hospital accompanying her.
-
The clinic was full and Dr. Fatimah came late because she had to give a talk at Masjid Jame' Al Hassanah Bandar Baru Bangi. After several hours waiting, finally it was our turn. Doctor found out that Wawa’s blood pressure did not turn to normal and the doctor also traced a present of albumin in her urine (+1). After she took an ultrasound to check the baby’s position, she decided to send Wawa to ward; she also told us there is a huge possibility that Wawa have to deliver the baby earlier than the expected date by c-section procedure.
-
We didn't get too worry at this point, we chatted about the baby, makan-makan, discussing about the baby's name and we spent another night at hospital as a couple on a honeymoon. Azla and Zu, Azam and Ida and also Ali with Faiz came visiting us. I still hoping and praying for Wawa’s B.P will turn down and she will deliver the baby by normal procedure.
-
The next day, on the evening they found out that albumin in Wawa’s urine increased to +3. Wawa’s B.P also high and the doctor don’t want to take the risk. The doctor said cesarean-section had to be done as soon as possible. I heard the news when Hawa and Redza just appeared from the lift to pay a visit. The operation was scheduled on 9.00 pm 11 March 2007. Dr. Khamsiah O&G specialist took over the operation as Dr. Fatimah had an emergency leave. At this point I can hear my heartbeat like a war drum. Azam and Ida came and lend us their Konica Minolta. Jr. also came, even though his wife Erni is still in the hospital. Thanks to all my friends for the morale support.
-
Experience in the O.T. Complex.

We performed Solat Hajjat together and pray for both Wawa and the baby. In the nick of time I still managed to recite Surah Maryam hoping Allah the almighty will protect both of them and to have a sound and smooth operation as Saidatina Maryam delivering Isa Alaihisalam.
-
8.30 p.m. nurses came to take Wawa to the Operation Theatre. After 15 minutes the doctor allowed me to come in. I had to wear a stupid O.T gown complete with the cap and mask. The Doctor also allowed my sister to assist her in the O.T room.

Hehe..

The room was so cold; my hands were trembling deal with the coldness and fear. I stand beside Wawa near her forehead. Before the operation begins I gave her a kiss and told her everything will be just fine even though I am also scared.
-
Overall the operation took an hour; the atmosphere was so silent, I can only heard beep-beep sound from the unidentified machine. They permitted me to take pictures. I cope to take several pictures, chance of a lifetime.

The Operation

By the time the baby’s head had appears, the doctor call me to take a picture. At first, I was really unclear whether it is really the baby’s head or not, because it’s covered with a grey stuff looks like clay or mud. But after I heard the baby cried, I start to feel a warm sensation inside, the feeling I never had before. Maybe the same feeling with Ben when he holding his baby for the first time. Wawa also can hear the baby cried I can see blissful tears in her eyes.

The First Cry

My Baby

After I finish recited Azan and Iqomah they put my baby in the incubator for observation. My baby was born premature only 35 weeks and 6 days old in pregnant. He weight 2.7 Kg. quite big for premature baby. I returned to the O.T room. The doctor already had done stitching. They sent Wawa to ward. The operation finished at 10.15. The highest gratitude, appreciation and thanks to Allah Almighty for everything. Guys,….aku dah jadik bapak sekarang…..

Gudminton - by Adzla

Exercise?. Probably not. But the nearest sport ever we like to be sweating is badminton. Well, the 'bad' sound isn't nice..so we change it to 'gud' (good) + minton = gudminton to give it a healthy, fun, exciting & emotional sport-togetherness.

Some of you might think "what is wrong with these mofos play badminton in the dark?". We started to play this game in front of Azam's house. Where a free-for-all to use this public badminton cum sepak takraw court. So, the game was nice and everyone happy palying it. Sometimes when we weren't in the mood to smach that cock, we played some round of unlucky cards

Unofficially, everybody can arrange date and time to play badminton. Since Jr and Puck being busy handling their bundle clothing shop, they have to some what alternate or take turn to show up to play. We really missed the 'Sotong kurita team'. They played good. Now, were upgrading to play in the contained court like in the Section 15 sports center. The fee is 15 per hour. The convernor for this is Mr Ali. So, Ali will be in-charge to arrange the game in the indoor court.
