Balik Kampung Blues...

So I spent the past week in Kangar, my wife's hometown. No drama. Very hot (about 37-38 degrees even with rain in the evening) Very boring. Went around pekan Kangar. Bought a pair of Thai kickboxing gloves and a punching bag. Now to find some sawdust....

Whenever i got the chance, I just sneaked off and drove around.

Prettiest lalang I ever seen...

It was 30 degrees in the shade, at least.

While I was at the post office to renew my drivers license, the police put on a little show and tell for the townsfolk on what to do bila ada snatch thief attack. Even had one of the cops dressed like a fag, with kuda putih and a patrol car doing a pathetic handbrake skid in front of the crowd. I videoed it on my phone. It was kinda funny. Will email the vid to you guys later.

Then the obligatory trip to padang besar. Same ol shit but i did manage to get Argentina and Malaysia national strip jerseys at 20 bucks a pop.

This pic not B&W. It was just dark.

Went to the fishing village in Sg. Bharu near Kuala Perlis, but kind a hard to go around snapping with a pregnant wife tagging along. Ernie was a good sport though but she chose to wait in the car with aircon at full blast though. Tapi bila kuar dengan parents dia susah sket aku nak indulge myself.

Now this should have been me.

A moment of contemplation

Check out the tatoos... Perlis Ink

Tengah basuh bot

Ni baru hotai..

Also did manage to go for a daytrip to langkawi. Highlight of the trip had to be the cable car ride there. Mmg cun.

Sampai kat atas tak gayat sgt..

Lepas ni aku nak carik one for myself

Winston Light.

Potential awkward moment: Watching rabbits fuck with your mother in law beside you...

Ali dengan Otai pun boleh ikut naik cable car... hehehe

On the trip back. Thru the ferry cabin window.

All in all, not too bad. Considering, I guess I have it pretty good on the in-law thingy.

PS: aku pegi balik kedai minum rimba yg ada awek cun tu... dia lak takde kat situ... huhuhu...

I'm bored of photography! That's why I'm posting my pics! by Azam. (Get It? Entah, aku pon tak paham.)

Sila ulang kata-kata cikgu...
Ini gambar masjid. Masjid ini cantik.

Ini juga gambar masjid. Gambar masjid ini serong.
(Sobonanyo den maleh nak rotate gambo)
Kalau nak tengok gambo ni betul2, sila rotatekan kepala anda 90 degree to the left.

Phew, nasib baik bukan full moon, kalau tak, aku takut Woodson jadi werewolf. Ke dia jadi perut berbulu boy... (if you know who you are, jangan marah, gurau je... hehehe). Eh, cantik la slipper croc faiz, not (it is practical though, senang masuk sungai). Gadget boy review strikes again!

Nampak macam ada orang nak lompat bunuh diri from the top of the bridge. Jap aku zoom camera aku... 8 times zooooooommmmmm!!!!

Oh silap... takde rupanya. Silau lampu yang aku nampak tadi kot.

I don't have any stupid remarks on this picture. Any ideas?
End.

Putrajaya Night Photo - by Adzla

Last night me, Fariz, Ben, Azam, Jr, Faiz and Ali went to Putrajaya to take some night shots of Putrajaya. We all gathered like in good old days, but with no cards to play. Azam, play out with his Konica Minolta, whilst Ben plays with his new K100D with courtesy tripod from Azam. As usual, Ali battle up with Faiz in 'Highseas' with their faithful N-Gage. Jr was the art director for last night photography.

This shot was done with the special effects from Jr. Using ZIPP-O v.10 Beta Release. The good thing is that, it doesn't burn Jr's bulus (skin hair). Entitled "Flame fly over minaret".

The two in-flamed moon shot entitled "Bark at the moon I" and "Bark at the moon II". Directed by Jr. Abstract light painting was done by Jr entitled "Opps..I didn't set the shutter."

"Crook shots" - Directed by Jr. Posers: Jr himself as Jr and Mr. Ali as "The no-compassionate Mr. Nice guy."

We move to another location which is at the 'New Millenium Monument' just beside the lake. We spend our 'Golden Time' chatting, laughing, farting and smoking like before we all (except for Faiz and Ali) got married.

Typical photo of 'Jambatan Wawasan' or 'Bridge of Vision' in Putrajaya.

"Colors of Serenity I" and "Colors of Serenity II".

We will post another night phototrip on a different location on our next congregation.

Thaks for viewing.

KLIA night photo trip Pt II - Adzla

This is my portion of the pictures that I took that night. Nothing much to capture but at least we had a good time and exchange opinions, ideas, critics and some other things.

I've managed to capture light trails of a plane taking off the runway

I've also managed to take the lighttrail flight from a closer view.

And then we head for some drinks and stuffed some food at Dengkil.

Looks like the true Redza drank his watermelon with his nose. Freak.

Faiz and his food appraisal. The jury was his belly.

This shot was taken with a torchlight (See Rezda's blog entry) positioned, intentionally soft-focus and edited using Light Zone. The same image at the above blog entry was texted in using ACDSee Pro.

Enjoy the pictures. Thank you.
